I'm Omar Hasnat Siddik Tanmoy, a research student, and currently pursuing my MS degree in Marine Environmental Management at the University of Chittagong. My academic and professional passions include GIS, marine spatial planning, remote sensing. Previously I was involved as a Research Assistant in "the commercialization of Artemia biomass and the effects of ocean acidification on coral communities". Which allowed me to develop my skills both in field and laboratory. I am also an enthusiastic green activist and served as a volunteer for the Chittagong University Nature Club (CUNC) for few years. I am motivated to use my technical skills in remote sensing and GIS to encourage sustainable coastal management and address the critical challenges facing our marine ecosystems.
